Last week, we talked about the recent boom in smart, voice-controlled devices. But is it time to add more smart tools to your inventory? Research suggests that only 35% of homes have smart devices, leaving a large and untapped market.

Research also points out that most homes begin their portfolio of smart devices with surveillance cameras. So, what are you waiting for? If you aren’t offering smart home devices by now, you’re missing out!

The Security Industry Is Recovering From COVID-19

While COVID-19 put a strain on the security industry, there are some signs that the industry is already recovering. While sales declined, specifically door-to-door sales, 87% of security businesses have reported some sort of pickup in business since the March shutdown.

While we aren’t out of the weeds quite yet, one thing is for sure, we’re fortunate to be in such a strong and resilient industry.
