Iris recognition has been around since the 1990s, but has never been popularly used. While it is something that we have seen frequently in Hollywood, most of us haven’t seen such technology in person. Well, that all might be changing shortly.
Securiport, located in dozens of countries worldwide, has recently partnered with Iris ID. Together, these two companies will be placing Iris scanners in airports, seaports, and border stations in an effort to minimize global crime and increase safety for travelers.
