ADT Commercial deserves recognition during this pandemic. Not only have they pledged over $1m million to various non-profits, but they have also donated 5,000 meals to first responders and healthcare workers across the country.

Boston Becomes Second Largest City to Ban Facial Recognition

Early in 2019, San Francisco became the largest city to implement bans on the police force usage of facial recognition programs, due to large inaccuracies within the software itself that skewed results based on gender and race.

Well, nearly a year later, Boston city officials voted on June 4th, 2020 to implement similar regulations, making Boston the second largest city to do so. Even though the technology continues to grow stronger, many organizations, cities, and agencies cannot justify its use.
