We are fortunate that the security monitoring industry hasn’t been suffering nearly as bad as some others around us. But why? According to a 20th century psychological theory, Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, security is a need that must be met to function in day-to-day life in a developed world.

Parker, an operator with AvantGuard, deserves some recognition. After activating her Freeus PERS device, a lady (we’ll call her “Allison”) was suffering from an asthma and panic attack. Allison told Parker she felt as if she was locked in a cage without a key.
By taking the appropriate steps, Parker acted heroically by sending help. Our operators are trained to make quick decisions that can save lives. We are happy to say that Allison is doing well after her incident.
