We think security installers will be excited to learn about our first story this week.
AvantGuard recently integrated with CHeKT, a video integration company that delivers an easy-to-use box that they call The Bridge.
The Bridge connects in-line on the zones of any alarm panel. The bridge pairs cameras in those zones and sends captured video from that zone when an alarm is triggered.
The Bridge is an incredibly simple solution to integrating video, and will benefit dealers and subscribers alike.

Grocery store brands like Kroger, WalMart, and Walgreens are taking steps to introduce facial recognition and eye tracking technologies. Each of which will be used to track consumer behavior, and ultimately deliver targeted advertisement experiences for shoppers.
The cameras will collect information such as age, gender, and even mood. We’re not quite sure how exactly it determines that information, but their purpose is clear.
Each of the grocery brands has claimed that the advanced technology capabilities are not currently in use right now, but who’s to say otherwise? They claim that this new technology helps them to compete with global competitors like Amazon.
The biggest worry that consumers should have, is there are no regulations that require a store to notify consumers if their personal information is being collected, or indicate what a store is legally allowed to do with the information once they have it.
