AvantGuard has experienced a tremendous amount of growth in recent years. We opened our third monitoring center in September of 2021 to support the organic growth of our subscriber base and won the prestigious TMA Monitoring Center of the Year award in April of 2022. Fast forward to October 2022, we now have eight central stations across North America (including four in Canada) and 1.6 million subscribers who trust AvantGuard, Becklar and Freeus with keeping their lives and property safe. Throughout this period of growth, we continue to provide the fastest response time in the market – under 10 seconds – with award winning, best in class service delivery, provided by our caring teams of professionals.
Over 40 Years of Experience
AvantGuard began monitoring our first 300 accounts in 1977. Since then, those 300 accounts have blossomed to more than 1.6 million subscribers and over 3,500 dealers.
Our passion for delivering industry-leading solutions for our dealers has helped propel our growth. We are proud of our partnership with innovative IoT companies like ProSentry who provide cutting edge leak detection and response services or organizations that provide crash detection solutions that protect subscribers during their travels. AG creates and implements award-winning, cutting-edge technologies for our dealers, like the AG App that helps technicians stay organized and put accounts on test from anywhere and AG Chat which helps reduce false alarms and gets customers the help they need in a timely fashion. These developments and many more have helped AG to become the premier monitoring solutions provider in North America.
We attribute dedication to service, innovation, and technology as the keys to our steady organic growth over the years – in fact nearly 100% of our growth through 2021 was organic, with more dealers choosing to support their subscribers through partnering with AvantGuard. Recent acquisitions in 2022 have fueled additional swift growth. The acquisition of All American Monitoring (AAM) and their experienced staff and monitoring center based in Sarasota, Florida, has broadened our reach and service to dealers and their subscribers on the east coast. All American Monitoring is a family-founded and second-generation operated monitoring center that has been serving hundreds of thousands of subscribers with over 1,500 dealers in their network.
Additionally, the recent acquisition of Armstrong’s National Monitoring Centers with their talented team and four monitoring stations (Dartmouth, Montreal, Edmonton and Moncton) has extended AG’s reach into Canada. Armstrong’s opened their first central station in 1989. Since then, they have grown into one of the most established and trusted monitoring providers in Canada, serving over 800 dealers in their network. AvantGuard plans to invest heavily in each of these newly acquired central stations and retain staffing in all the new locations.
