It has been an exciting and amazing year at AvantGuard. We couldn’t be more proud of everything we have accomplished, with your help, over the last twelve months.
One of our major goals for this year was to expand our incredible leadership team to take the Becklar brands and services, including AG and Freeus, to new heights.
To facilitate our growth and strengthen our position as a premier professional monitoring business in AvantGuard, we brought Bo Denkers on board as our VP of Software Development and Ray Refuerzo joined our team as the VP of Operations. Both Bo and Ray have brought a wealth of knowledge and have deepened an already incredible talent pool at AvantGuard. What great leadership additions to the team.
With hard work and dedication from everyone on the team, we became the monitoring partner of choice for Acadian dealers as Acadian transitions their monitoring service to us. The following month we achieved a major milestone, to provide monitoring services for over one million subscribers. Surpassing 1M subs was a goal sent for AvantGuard in 2013 and to do so by 2023. We beat that target by 2 ½ years. Incredible and thank you! We couldn’t be more proud of this significant accomplishment.
This past summer was an especially exciting time for AG as we launched our new MLS Tool to help dealers be aware of and retain customers as they relocate from home to home, and let dealers know about new owners moving in. We launched the new MLS Tool at this year’s ISC West convention. After last year’s hiatus from ISC West, due to the pandemic, it was great to see so many of your familiar and friendly faces this past summer in Las Vegas.
August marked another monumental moment for us when we opened our third central station in Cedar City, Utah. Cedar City provides yet another layer of redundancy for our partners and their customers, with AG now offering three fully redundant sites. Our new Cedar City location is just awesome, as are our 60+ new AG associates who have joined the AvantGuard team!
Through the Fall, our growth continued. We further grew our subscriber base to more than 1.2 million customers, thanks in part to the acquisition of Tutor Monitoring that we welcomed from Houston, Texas.
In conjunction with our swift growth, we’ve made great strides in innovation. A great example is the deployment of our new Phoenix phone platform. The new phone system lays our foundation for future growth and reliability for voice traffic and recordings, provides better insights into call quality and metrics, and delivers an additional layer of telephone redundancy at AvantGuard. We’ve been on phoenix for a few weeks, and we are performing superbly.
Lastly and most importantly, I’d like to personally thank you for your business and the trust you place with us in your business. It’s an honor for AvantGuard to serve you and to deliver award winning service and solutions for your valued subscribers. We do this with gratitude and with our ongoing commitment to ensure excellence in everything we do.
I’d also like to thank everyone on the AG Team who helped to make 2021 such an incredible year. We look forward to building upon our successes as we go into the New Year and expand our solutions and innovative offerings to protect and enhance the level of those that we partner with.
