AG Execs Present At ESX 2019

This year’s Electronic Security Expo, better known as ESX, took place just two weeks ago, offering electronic security professionals a chance to tap into the industry conversation, network with potential partners, and perhaps most importantly, listen to expert presenters in the educational sessions.

This year, two of AvantGuard’s executive team members, Rich Slater, and Rich Watts had the opportunity to participate in panels and one solo presentation.

Rich Slater, who is the VP of Human Resources for AvantGuard’s parent company presented on the importance of employee feedback and the effect it can have on your bottom line.

His second presentation was on hiring tactics in a competitive market. He stressed the potential opportunities that can be found in hiring from outside the monitoring industry. He argued that new perspectives can be gained from outside the industry, helping innovate and pivot a traditionally laggard industry.
