KOKOMO, IN – "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! STAY RIGHT THERE! DON’T YOU MOVE!”
On March 1st at 4am, AvantGuard team member Anil received a burglary alarm. Immediately Anil called Tony, who already was on site. Tony requested that Anil stay on the line with him as he went to investigate the triggered alarm.
To Tony’s surprise, the burglar was the same man who had interviewed for a job the day before! Tony didn’t hire him since the man had failed his background check.
Tony began screaming commands at the man and requested police to be dispatched. At once Anil dispatched police.
Upon arrival police apprehended the man from Tony and arrested him for attempted burglary and trespassing.
"Even though I shouldn’t have gone in after the guy, it was nice to know that I could focus on the situation knowing that you were sending the police” Tony later told AvantGuard.
