North Carolina - Isn’t it great to know that you could have access to help, whenever necessary? That peace of mind is impossible to put a price tag on. This invaluable service came in handy a while back for one of our subscribers, George.
Everyone in the state handled that day differently. Some fled their homes, some boarded up their homes and decided to “tough it out”. One thing was for sure — a hurricane was coming, and was going to make landfall. George decided that he would leave town and head more inland, towards a Marine base to seek shelter.
While George was enjoying his time swapping stories with fellow veterans on base, he took notice of some of the dogs on base that no one was cleaning up after. George took this as his personal responsibility. He wanted to help however he could.
When George bent over to clean up a dog’s mess, he fell, and found that he couldn’t get back up. George found that he couldn’t even summon the strength to shout for help. That is when he remembered the device. After he pressed his button, he heard one of our operators voices on the other line. “Hello, this is James. What can I help you with today?”
