Oct 5, 2020 10:57:41 AM

Here's a quick rundown of some of the top cybersecurity stories in the world. Here are some great examples of why you need to stay up-to-date with what is happening digitally!

This lure is designed to look like an official email from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, and prompt the victim to enter personal information to “finish” their registration process. If there are any red flags, just remember: when in doubt, throw it out!

How Cybersecurity Education Can Shape the Future

There are millions of cyberthreats in existence, with hundreds, if not thousands, of new threats emerging daily. These threats target everyone from consumers to government agencies and everyone in between. Certifications, education, and training are tools that we can use to combat this rapid growth of threats with some progress of our own. Using these tools can encourage more professionals to join the field, as well as provide a baseline knowledge for all, on how to utilize safe cyber practices.
