Fan or not, you can’t argue with the fact that the Beatles had a huge musical and cultural impact on America. With Valentine’s Day approaching, we thought their song, “All You Need is Love” would be a fitting theme for the month of February. Do you recall how many Beatles tunes have the word ‘Love’ in the title? How many of them can you name? (See below for the answers)
From 1962 to 1970, Paul, John, George, and Ringo released 11 albums and charted more than 50 top 40 hit singles. They scored 22 number one hits in the United States alone.
Songfacts.com reported that, "The Beatles played 'All You Need is Love' for the first time on the 'Our World' project, the first worldwide TV special. Broadcast in 24 countries on June 25, 1967, the show was six hours long and featured music from 6 continents, with The Beatles representing Britain. The Beatles were supposedly recording this live during the show, but they used a pre-recorded backing track, and John Lennon's vocal was redone a few hours later."
