Throughout the month of October, AvantGuard partnered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to raise funds and awareness through hiking in our incredible Utah trail system. The Hike-a-Thon to Support Suicide Prevention was an overall success thanks to all our amazing AG employees and sponsors.
Donations
AvantGuard employees hiked over 400 miles to raise funds. Along with the Hike-a-thon, our generous sponsors donated money, as well as various products and outdoor equipment for a silent auction. Through the Hike-a-thon, corporate sponsor donations, and the silent auction, AvantGuard raised over $8,200 that was donated to the AFSP.
We’d like to thank all of our generous sponsors: ConvergeOne, Crown Trophy, Lifetime Products, Mountain Alarm, NetCuras TM, RC Willey, Sew Sweet Minky Designs, Security Central, Systems Implementers, Wasatch Peaks, The Perfect Touch Salon, Mt. Ogden Golf Course, Chick-fil-a Layton, Pig & a Jelly Jar, Cold Stone Creamery and Maddox for their generous donations and support. These donations made a huge impact on the success of the fundraiser.
We’d also like to thank all of our employees, and even some of our dealers who hiked and donated. Needless to say, 400 miles is an incredible feat. It truly demonstrates that AG employees believe in our value of service, and the importance of giving back to the community and making a real difference in other’s lives.
Hosting an all-digital fundraiser amidst a pandemic presented its fair share of challenges, but we couldn’t be prouder of the resilience, effort and care put forth by our employees, dealers, and sponsors. Thank you for caring, F.I.R.S.T.
