Bo Denkers 
Vice President of Software Engineering,  AvantGuard Monitoring Centers

Bo joined the AvantGuard team in March 2021 after spending the last 10 years working for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a Director of Engineering. While there, his team built software for their Global Security Operations Center, Human Resources, Global Call Center and Financial Auditing departments.

Bo brings 20+ years of software development and software engineering experience to the AG. He earned his undergraduate business degree from Utah State University in 2006. He has spent his career in various business markets building software and understanding data, including medical, retail, physical security, financial auditing, and human resources to name a few. This has given him the ability to strategically identify best ways to solve complex problems and leverage software to bring value and efficiency to the organizations he has worked with and to their customers.

Bo has a genuine passion for technology and a drive to build collaborative, high performing software development teams that solve complex business problems using good architecture and design principles. He is committed to growing AG's culture of continuous improvement and service delivery by enabling collaboration and trust with partners.
