Gene Marks is Clare Controls VP Sales. He brings several decades of professional experience in security and related industries. Most recently, Gene served as business development manager at Nortek Security & Control, selling brands such as 2GIG, Linear, GoControl! and others. His background extends to fire detection devices, from his time with the fire department in Chicago. Gene served as the mayor of the Village of Northbrook, IL from 2005-2009, where he worked with local, regional, state, and federal legislators regarding policy and law updates.
