A special congratulations goes out to some of our staff as we recognize their hard work over the years. Recently, two of our employees were nominated for TMA awards. Without further ado, we would like to honor our 2020 TMA Support Person of the Year, Gavin Butterfield, and our 2020 TMA Operator of the Year, Amanda Edmunds.
You two are great examples of what it’s like to be a hero at AvantGuard. Without your dedication and hard work, AvantGuard would not be as successful as we are today.

There are over 2,700 monitoring centers in the United States and only a fraction can say that they have achieved The Monitoring Association’s Five Diamond designation.
This designation shows a commitment to excellence, and the drive to meet and exceed standards put forth by The Monitoring Association. AvantGuard has earned, and continues to earn the Five Diamond designation through rigorous training, testing, and proficiency as we strive for perfection within our industry.

Outside of AG News, Amazon’s facial recognition program, Rekognition, has been pulled from police shelves, so to speak. In light of recent protests, Amazon has decided to no longer provide those services to the police for up to a year.
