For the second time this month, AvantGuard Monitoring Centers has been featured in a piece in the Security Systems News. The latest article highlights AvantGuard's efforts to venture outside of the traditional security box, and in to new arenas involving mobile device emerging technologies.

AvantGuard's President Josh Garner states in the article "The monitoring of the future will be much more than just monitoring standard DACTs and IP communicators for alarm systems. There are all kinds of devices out there that have the ability to transmit data, and smart phones are just one of those items. In the last year, we've been contacted by numerous parties who are venturing into some form or fashion of the mobile market, whether it be mobile security or mobile health/PERS."

The article also details the smart phone alarm application called Forsse that was developed by Denver Colorado based Soteria Systems who uses AvantGuard Monitoring Centers exclusively for their monitoring services.
