A team of golfers comprised of Brandon Beal, Sales Manager of Watson Security, Troy Iverson, Vice President of Sales & Marketing of AvantGuard Monitoring Centers, and Brek Grover, AvantGuard's Regional Account Manager placed second in the Washington Burglar & Fire Alarm Association's 9th annual golf tournament held on 13 July at the Elk Run Golf Club in Maple Valley Washington.

The team finished the day with a score of 12 under par. AvantGuard's Troy Iverson also received "closest to the hole" honors for the tournament when he placed his tee shot on a par 3 hole 22 inches from the cup.

AvantGuard's Brek Grover also qualified for the putting shoot out by sinking a 25 foot put.
