Suzie Nye, AvantGuard's Vice President of Operations was named by the Central Station Alarm Association as a 2010 Central Station Manager of the Year Honorable Mention at their awards breakfast held during the Electronic Security Expo (ESX) in Pittsburgh PA. This marks the second time that Suzie has been recognized by the association as an elite Central Station Manager in the alarm industry.
Suzie joined AvantGuard in 1989 and has 21 years of central station expertice and experience. Suzie began her career as a Central Station Operator in AvantGuard's Ogden Utah central station. Soon thereafter Suzie was promoted to the position of Central Station Manager, and was responsible for all central station operations.
When AvantGuard acquired its Tacoma Washington Central Station, Suzie was tasked with integrating it with the Ogden Utah central station. She spent countless hours standardizing training, policies, and procedures to integrate the two geographically seperated central stations into the one load sharing virtual central station AvantGuard operates today.
In 2007, Suzie was promoted to her current position of Vice President of Operations. She is responsible for all Training, Quality Assurance, Operations, and Data Entry functions company wide, and plays a vital role in AvantGuard's delivery of fast and accurate response times with unrivaled customer service to our Dealers and their subscribers.
AvantGuard would like to congratulate Suzie on this achievment, and thank her for all that she does for the company. To quote one of her employees "Suzie has mastered the art of focusing on the company's mission, while at the same time taking care of her people that perform that mission.
