May 25 2010 Amy Swift and Gavin Butterfield praised for Life Saving Responses |
Amy Swift, a Swing Shift Central Station Operator who was also recognized earlier this month as the Ogden Utah facilities Employee of the Quarter, was recently recognized for her efforts in saving the life of a customer in Massachusetts. A customer was having a stroke and activated their medical alarm to which Amy received the alarm signal. Amy then quickly and accurately coordinated the correct response of emergency medical technicians who were able to save the customers life.
Gavin Butterfield who is a Graveyard Shift Central Station Operator in AvantGuard's Ogden Utah Central Station was also praised for his response to a medical alarm. Gavin received a medical alarm from a customer in Arizona and quickly coordinated the response. The customers life was saved.
