Jul 13 2012 Washington Central Station Operator Andrea Jenkins helps Idaho police apprehend would be burglar |
| Andrea Jenkins, a Central Station Operator in AvantGuard's Tacoma Washington central station recently helped Idaho police thwart a burglary in progress at a restaurant near Idaho Falls. At 4:13am on Wednesday, July 11th, Andrea received a burglar alarm signal coming from an upstairs motion detector in the Idaho restaurant. Andrea accessed the alarm within seconds, and quickly followed the accounts instructions to coordinate a response with authorities. Within minutes of the alarm system being activated, Andrea had police on the scene who were able to apprehend the burglar who was hiding in bushes near the business.
