For Jasmine Merrell, hard work and dedication don't just apply to her critical position as a Central Station Shift Lead in AvantGuard's Tacoma Washington monitoring center, they are just a part of her every day life.

Jasmine, while working full time for AvantGuard, and being a single mother, still manages time in to her busy days to attend school through Ashford University. In February of 2012, she earned her Bachelors Degree of Art in Social Science, and minored in Child Development. According to Jasmine, "Working full time and being a single mother is difficult. Doing that and going to school full time is almost too much to handle, but I did it!"

Jasmine, not being one to stop working, is now enrolled in the Masters program, and continuing her education at Ashford. "I believe that no matter what age you are, no matter what you have going on, if you have enough drive you can accomplish anything." says Merrell.
