Using the existing pre-programmed toll free number in the alarm panel or PERS unit, the call transverses one of two separate circuits through two separate long distance carriers into our central monitoring station. You heard right! A single toll free number is routed over two different long distance carriers. It sounds impossible but Avant Guard’s exclusive system is really quite simple. Let’s show you how it works with our two central monitoring stations. We already know that Avant Guard’s exclusive reroute technology ensures that if a circuit is down the call is automatically rerouted to another line. But it does much more than that. If something happens to prevent your call from going to one of our monitoring stations, whether the problems is with the circuit, the carrier or the monitoring facility, the call is automatically rerouted to our other facility. It all happens instantaneously, without missing a beat. That’s up to four separate routes to ensure that your alarm signal is connected no matter what.
