Sadika Lively named Q1 2012 Washington Central Station Employee of the Quarter

Sadika Lively has been named the Washington Central Station Employee of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2012.

Sadika currently works as a Central Station Shift Lead in AvantGuard’s Tacoma Washington Central Station facility. Sadika started with AvantGuard as a Central Station Operator. She quickly demonstrated her tremendous work ethic and attention to detail which resulted in her being promoted to the position of Shift Lead in January 2012.

According to Washington Central Station Manager Amber Bachus – Martin, “Sadika is being recognized as the Employee of the Quarter because her hard work and dedication since being promoted to Shift Lead in January has raised the bar.” “She constantly strives to lead by example and is always willing to help those around her. I am proud to have her on our team.”

Laci Butterfield named First Quarter 2012 Administrative Employee of the Quarter

Laci Butterfield, a Data Entry Clerk in AvantGuard’s Ogden Utah headquarters has been named as the Q1 Administrative Employee of the Quarter.
Laci began her career at AvantGuard as a Central Station Operator in 2009. Laci quickly proved to be an outstanding operator with a tremendous eye for detail which made her a natural for her current position in the Data Entry Department.
Laci was selected for this award by her peers. Some 25 AvantGuard administrators proposed nominees for the award, and Laci received the most nominations. According to Morgan Rallison, who is AvantGuard’s Data Entry Department Manager, and Laci’s supervisor she earned this honor due to her excellent customer service. Rallison said “Laci is amazing on the phone, and her etiquette is great! She is very dependable and has the ability to get along with others, and create relationships with our dealers which is awesome. She also handles a fair share of our workload, and is always willing to help others.”

Bosch Security & Audio Tour coming to Salt Lake City May 8th & 9th

The Bosch Safe & Sound Security and Audio tour will be in Salt Lake City May 8th & May 9th from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Bosch is bringing with them the largest, most interactive product exhibit truck in the alarm industry!

Bosch’s tour will be at Dircetlink Marketing Office at 7238 South Airport Road (4560 West), in West Jordan Utah.

Attendees will be able to check out the latest in Bosch’s emergency communications systems, video surveillance solutions, access control, intrusion and fire detection systems, and dynamic audio demonstrations.

Bosch will also provide food and refreshments!

AvantGuard Central Station Operator Janee Hale helps police apprehend burglar in liquor store robbery.

Janee Hale, a Central Station Operator in AvantGuard’s Tacoma Washington central station recently helped Denver Colorado police apprehend a burglar that had broken in to a liquor store.

At 2:39am on March 31st, Janee received a motion alarm from a Colorado liquor store. Janee proceeded to execute and coordinate a textbook response with Denver Colorado police officers. Because of Janee’s fast, and expert response, police officers were able to apprehend the burglar on site who had gained entry to the business by breaking a window with a shovel.

The business owner is crediting the alarm system, Janee’s response, as well as fact acting police officers in limiting the loss to their business to the broken window.
