AvantGuard Utah Central Station Supervisor Brandon Holden helps save life

AvantGuard’s Brandon Holden is being credited for the role that he played in saving a medical alarm customers life recently.

Brandon, who works as a Supervisor in AvantGuard’s Ogden Utah central station received a medical alarm signal from a customer in Pennsylvania early Sunday morning on November 13th 2011. Brandon was quickly able to establish communication with the medical alarm subscriber through the two-way voice feature of the alarm system, and ascertain that the customer was experiencing tremendous back pain and nausea. Brandon assured the customer that he would get help, and then proceeded to flawlessly coordinate a response from Emergency Medical Technicians.

Because of Brandon’s quick and accurate dispatch, EMT’s arrived on site quickly and were able to transport the customer to a near by hospital where it was discovered that the customer had a major blockage in their heart, and was in fact having a heart attack.

AvantGuard has been contacted by the family of the medical alarm system’s user, and wish to share their appreciation for Brandon’s life saving work.

Great job Brandon!
